Here's the thing, I go to the Manahattan campus so things are a little different here than in Old Westbury. You have to actually try to make friends and do things on campus, as there isn't much to the spaces available. There are cliques and crews that may make a student who lives at home initially seem unwelcome, but it is very easy to join up with the various clubs and events that take place. Is it the most difficult school in the world? Not in the least, although you are expected to learn material and for the most part carry the information into succeeding courses. Although meant to be a career oriented university, some classes are best described as Staff is helpful for the most part, and I have not had any major troubles yet (knock on wood) and when I did have financial aid issues, the SSC did help me. In short: not the hardest school, but not entirely a pushover, helpful campus resources, but needs a little help in forming a true school community between the campuses.
