I just finished my first semester at Aquinas College in Nashville TN, and I must admit I wish I had gone to another college. These tests are so bad they just don't make any sense at all. I've heard from other students who have gone on to finish the program this is a terrible nursing program. They told me that Aquinas has a very high NCLEX pass rate only because they make the students do over 1000 NCLEX questions each semester, and only give the students two points for their work. And, the NCLEX questions take hours to complete because the questions pertain to nursing info the school never teaches. Their pass rate before they started requiring the NCLEX scam was only 80%, and I can see why because the tests these instructors write are terrible. The tests don't look anyting like the lecture material, and they are written by a bunch of nurses who got their degrees 30 years ago. They don't know how to write a test but if you complain about how bad it is they yell at you and threaten you. I'm just first semester, but I've heard they will throw you out of school if you question anything they do. Believe me, they have a lot to hide because they are so disorganized and incompetent. Also, be aware you need to get at least an 78% just to pass the class. I studied everyday, quit my job, and still barely passed my first test. Why? Because the tests are so poorly written you can understand what they are asking. All the answers, they claim, are correct, and two are the best answers. You have to find the most ideal answer. Remember, these instructors are not professional test writers they are just old-school nurses that went back to school to get a Masters in education. You'll find these instructors know very little, if anything at all, about physiology. Good Luck if you decide to attend here. My advice…Go somehwere else!!!
