You can get a good education at CSU that prepares you well for graduate school or a career once you reach the upper division courses. At the lower level, however, classes are full of many people that may not be cut out for college-level academics. Social life is virtually non-existant. This is a commuter school in the middle of an empty downtown. They are working to change CSU to a more residential university, but that will take time and they won't be there for at least several more years.
