Salisbury University can be amazing, or it can be horrible. It really depends on a) where you live b) who you live with c)The friends you make d) How hard are you willing to work.If you are able to get in the dorms (on campus) or in UV or UP (usually upper class apartments but freshman can even live there) then it is amazing. They are awesome complexes and the people their are so friendly and yea of course there are parties, which are so much fun (IF YOU HANG OUT WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE) all these stuff you hear about drugs and stuff. It is the same as anywhere else I have been. The campus life is awesome and same with the athletics (amazing). So if you can find the right friends and live with the right people (whom you can trust and hangout with) then this place is perfect, especially since it is a mid-sized school, you really get to know your professors well too, whom are (for the most part) helpful and nice.HOWEVER!!! If you live in a house or other place it can be a bit sketchy with the surrounding neighborhoods, just like SOOO many other colleges. At most Colleges you're either in a place usually with neighborhoods that aren't the best or in the middle of nowhere (boring). Crime happens at Towson, Maryland, UMBC etc… so people need to stop complaining and just gain the experience instead. Look at the rest of the world for god sake there are places a MILLION times worse, so stop whining and learn to enjoy college life. so make sure you make friends that you can trust and hangout with, (that will also help you succeed) and also a place that is (if you want it to be) surrounded by other students. (I highly suggest UV UP).
