Date: Dec 25 2009
Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
I started looking at colleges with my major in mind. I wanted to work in the television field, and Rider emerged as one of the better choices. I chose to attend it because the campus was small and private, so a student could get personally involved in the department rather than being simply a number. Everyone is extremely nice, both students and faculty. It can be a little boring at times, but thats not a bad thing. It gives you time to do your work you're to busy to do otherwise. If you aren't a shut-in, you'll make a ton of friends, you just have to make an effort to be outgoing. The school always provides something for students to do, and it usually comes with a free t-shirt. If you stay for four years, you'll have more than you can count. And if you're allergic to grass, you might want to bring some allergy meds, because they cut the grass constantly. But I guess that's better than being surrounded by nothing but concrete.
