OWU is a very good school in a rough location. The Faculty and majority of the Students are warm, but the weather during the winter is so cold. It is very dark and depressing during the winters in Ohio. However, the Spring time is by far one of the best times i have ever had. OWU during the Spring is def one of the happiest campus's around. There are very wonderful teachers at OWU, and there are some that aren't. Students tend to ask around for the legit teachers, and unfortunately classes with the good teachers are very hard to get into. Few of the teachers are horrible, but OWU does have some bad teachers. All universities do. The good teachers are very accessible, and they really do love helping the students out. The night life is OK. There are always a good amount of parties on Fridays, Saturdays and at times WED, which i think is good. The parties are good, but it gets old really fast, because you go to the same houses with the same kids. The people generally very fun people from all over the east coast. Me, being from CO, find it a bit hard dealing with a harsh winter and no skiing. For the kids from the east coast and ohio, it's a normal winter for them. I honestly think if you brought the same students and faculty to a better location OWU would be one of the most fun and rewarding schools in the nation. But unfortunately it's in Delaware, Ohio where the weather is difficult and there is a bit of tension between the locals and students. The town is not very college friendly. The only late night food place was shut down, but the town is starting to open up deli's and pizza shops, which attracts students. I do recommend OWU, but for me I just got tired of it after 2 years.
