Beware Grand Canyon University! I am a school principal, 60 years old, and wanted to take some online classes to upgrade my education. The people I spoke to on the phone were very friendly. I should have been worried that each time I spoke to someone different. I took only one class, just to see how these online classed would be like. It was nothing like I imagined. It was like a char room with all of these threads and things I didn't understand. I told my latest counselor that I would not be returning and why. They said it was ok, etc. My password and username was deleted and I could not get in after the last day or registration. By the way, I paid for the class with my VISA card. Now I am being hounded by bill collectors for $3500 for additional classes I took. It seems I didn't quit the proper way. I told my counselor, she said it was OK, my password was deleted, but I aparently skipped something. Its funny, I got an E on the class I paid for and an A on the imaginary class they are trying to get me to pay for. I have been to 6 other brick and mortar universities and NEVER have any of them allow a person to take a class without paying for it, and NEVER have I had to do anything other than not registering for the next term in order to drop. BEWARE this, "Christian" school.

I agree with the pricnpal. I was given an A- in a class i did not complete. I finally finished and am awaiting my transcript to set for certification as an FNP. Funny thing they sent me a diploma and have not yet confirmed my degree. They messed up the transcript not surprising because this happens often. I am getting ready to take them to the Educational board. I couldn't agree more Do Not call yourself Christioan unless you mean this. Oh by the way there wer 2 classes I had to ask for a syllabus. This last class the professor kept making excuses that curriculum development had not put one together for the class. I cannot reccomend this University
