Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I absolutely love the place. The first semester was hard; I didn't always feel like I fit into the place. But now I can't imagine a better place to have attended. For me, the key has been three things: 1) faculty that really care for the students, go the extra mile for their students; 2) a student body that values community and diversity; 3) expanding my horizons (i.e., being forced to get take interesting courses outside my major and having the opportunity to get involved in some groups that I wouldn't have expected of myself!). I think a lot of what is special about Georgetown is due to the Jesuit influence—they seem to have a long tradition of educating well.
