I didn't come to TC3 straight out of high school, and I'm not from the area. My goal originally in coming to TC3 was to transfer to SUNY Cortland, however I think due to the school I will probably finish my associates degree here.

As having experience at another school previously, I must say I have enjoyed my first semester at TC3 much more than any of the time at my previous school. I love my advisor here, she is simply awesome and helpful. She is available a good portion of the time if I need help, or just notifying me of deadlines or events. I like when (compared to my other school) I walk in and she knows who I am. All of my professors have been at least decent thus far.

One professor is simply amazing, I love her and would highly recommend taking her classes. Very helpful, willing to work with you on grades if you can make her see your point, and approachable.

The campus seems like it's just one or two buildings, but the main building is very large. Again, it's a community college so you shouldn't expect a huge campus.

I'm very happy with the move, the only thing I've disliked is it's literally out in the middle of no where. I commute every 3 days from Cortland, about 10 miles away. It makes it hard to get involved with extracurricular stuff, and I feel kind of cut off from the student body. I would recommend if you are not from the area like me, that you stay on campus. Overall, it has been a great experience that really has made me want to finish my education.
