Date: Dec 31 2009 Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time) I graduated form U of I in 2006 in biochemistry and was accepted quickly into the pharmacology graduate program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I found most of the first year of grad school was easy because of the preparation from U of I and have published two paper and passed my qualifying exam on the first try with no re-write required (unusual in the department). I am preparing to graduate with my PhD this next year, 4 1/2 years after graduating with my bachelors form Idaho. Not only was the course load of the Major useful, but my minors in Chemistry and Computer Science have also been instrumental in giving me an edge. The faculty in my department were very helpful in finding my current position at UAB.The time in the University Marching band also was some of the best experience in my life and friends made then I still keep in contact with.
