Mary Washington is a great deal for what you get. It has a private school feel in that the classes are of medium size (there are not any lecture classes that exceed 100 students) and the professors care about there students. Every one on campus is friendly and laid back, no pressure to be preppy. Many students go home on the weekends because there's not much going on on campus. Over all it is a friendly community where students feel little pressure to compete academically but still learn a lot because professors are knowledgeable about their subject.
