I am currently a freshman here at quinnipiac and I can honestly say that I regret coming here. Now don't get me wrong the campus is beautiful, my teachers I have had have been great, and the housing is awesome. Yet the problem for me lies within the actual student body. If you want to come to a place with no diversity where everyone is white and rich than that's fine. But for me I want to actually meet someone who isn't from new york, new jersey, massachusetts, or connecticut. Also there is a mentality around campus where I feel that work comes second partying and drinking. I don't feel that paying 45,000 a year is worth the money for a school with average academics and a homogeneous student body. Lastly I feel as if there is no school pride and the sporting events aren't well attended unless we are playing a rival school such as yale. If you want to go to a school where everyone is white, rich, loves to party, and don't really care about academics then come here.
