CUH is a small campus with good vibes. When one is considering coming to CUH they must know that yes prices are high but that?s the cost of living in paradise. Hawaii from the get go is not a cheap place to live, thus eating and attending outings reflects the cost of living here. While at CUH for three years I have come to know my professor on a personal level rather than a strict business level. The school has given me numerous opportunities to travel, become involved with the community and has also offered much internship to me. While one could see how UH Manoa could offer more classes students from out of state must look into the financial situation of Hawaii before choosing to attend that university. Currently UH has been cutting classes, professors have been cut, and basically because Hawaii has no money the university is suffering the most. Many friends that have attended there wish they could have gone to CUH instead. The reason I picked CUH is because it has smaller class sizes which are taught but real professors, it is a private university so one does not have to worry if the school will get funding or not, and last they offered a lot of financial aid to attend. CUH is the place to be if you are looking to be a person with a name rather than a number. I have never regretted my decision to attend this university. With the diverse student body population it is a great experience and a great way to meet people from all around the world. CUH is not a place where one can easily slack on coming to class, because the classes are small professor tend to notice when you are not there, but that?s a good thing. Over all I will be graduating from CUH in a year with a double degree in History and Behavioral Science and hope that many students really consider this university while making their college choices. It has been a great experience for me and I am sure you will have a great one as well. Just remember it?s not the school that makes it bad it?s what the person does while here that makes or breaks their opinion of the University.
