There is not anything special about ESU by all means. Even though it is a state related school there are many better universities that you can attend.

Overall, my experience at ESU was nothing special. It reminded me of a high school atmosphere. They parties were awesome my first semester but after awhile they all became lame. The people here are very clicky and if you are not in their circle of friends group, you do not talk to one another.

And the town of east stroudsburg and stroudsburg is not safe at all. It is a very un-educated area that seems to always have a dark cloud over it.

My advice is to go to a better school. if you can only afford to go to a state school i highly suggest West Chester University where there is a 100x better college atmosphere.
