Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
Superior is a dump town, but the state university campus here is nice and small. You will get to meet your professors and know them. Nothing is taught by a TA. I have consistently heard very bad stories about the Teachers' Education Department, which get worse every year. Every other department has good and bad apple professors, with a majority good. Some of my English and History professors are inspirations to me.The coursework is not difficult for the most part, and a degree requires a lot of high school level general eds. Low-level English classes are taught with stuff that you could watch a movie adaptation of, or based entirely on short stories, which is not good.Students complain about campus life, but all students everywhere do this. Northern Wisconsin/Minnesota does not have a good social/city life anywhere so don't expect much.
