Major: Civil Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a Colorado native and went to a school out of state for my first two years of school. I used to look down at Metro. When I visited the local schools; analyzed programs, tuiton pricing, and social life. The other schools seemed to be much more focused on the sporting teams, partying, fraternitities, sororities, and other similiar clubs or cliques. Since attending Metro I have made countless new connections and friends. The campus has a lot of students from 3 different colleges. The networking I have done has set me up for a large network of friends and future business contacts; accountants, pilots, nurses, realtors, mechanical engineers, chefs, architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers etc. The most important thing you need to know about Metro is:"The students on campus are different than the other universitys in colorado they are focused and you mature a lot faster when you are a student at a commuter school." If you want to make a solid step towards your future without the distractions and high costs of the competition you will choose Metro.
