De Anza is a great place to go to. I loved it here. It gets people in to accomplish whatever goals they have and move on. But if you're looking for a college life social scene/ dorm experience obviously community college isn't for you.The education is good here. I did have a problem with one teacher who doesn't speak good english or teach well. There's also great diversity. Most people here are asian. Lots of international students. But it's not just about race, it's also age, socioeconomic status, and background. It truly is a place for the community. The diversity is celebrated via clubs and events on campus. It does get quite loud too.The campus itself gets shabby in some older parts. But who cares, tuition is cheap. It can be tough to get into the classes though because its so crowded.
