The College of New Rochelle

This school is awful. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The people who graduated in the 1980's have nice things to say about it, but not me, or several other CURRENT students.

This school is a joke. A lot of the girls who go here are very socially awkward. Nothing here is updated. The school will lure you in with a free laptop, but they don't use the internet for anything. You won't get your final grades at the end of the semester until 3-4 weeks later because they don't even use online grading. There is no online registration for classes, and the overall campus communication is horrible.

The campus is not student-oriented AT ALL. There is nothing fun to do on campus. One res hall has a ping-pong table in a random room in the basement. The cafeteria hours are ridiculous. On weekdays, dinner ends at 6:30, and on weekends, the caf is open from 11:30-1:30 and 5-6. It is a JOKE. There are no fun events here. The sports teams suck. Guest policies are completely irrational. (Guys can't sleep over, and friends can't stay over more than 3 nights in the same week.)Even the library closes at 11 every night. Most colleges libraries close at 3AM, or stay open all the time. There's not even picnic tables on this campus. Everyone just sits in their rooms and does nothing.

As for the nursing school, the programs are very well structured, and there are no seemingly-useless classes that are required. However, it is very poorly managed and sloppy, which, unfortunately is at the students' expense.

I regret going here everyday. I'm only here to get my nursing degree, plus transferring is a bitch. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS PLACE IS MISERABLE, EXPENSIVE, AND BORING.
