Trinity College

A four year camp for trust fund babies. This school was full of bigoted, spoiled, daddy's kids. As a latino male I never felt welcomed, and it was if the students felt that I was there because of affirmative action, not realizing that not only did I attend one of the most prestigious high schools in the country, but the only reason I ended up there was because of personal problems that required me to be close to home and it was the closest school I applied to to NY. And that wasn't even the biggest problem with the people, most of the minorities proved those close minded assholes right more than half the time by taking on Bo Jangles roles. And the ones that were normal and weren't performing for whitey half the time became miserable because they were forced to alienate themselves. The lack of diversity, made it awful for students of color to have an active social life since unless you were a girl who was a slut, you were not allowed into frat parties. Another thing was the fact that you couldn't take the classes you wanted ever because they were so limited. And despite this school hailing itself as one of the best small colleges with the best engineering program there was no architecture program, and their fine arts major was pathetic and most people I knew who had it as their major did not graduate on time, despite needing the least amount of credits to graduate. The athletic facilities were a joke. When I first saw their football field I thought it was their practice field and asked someone where the game field was. A hole in the wall gym had more to offer in terms of quantity and useful workout equipment. The housing crises forced dorms to add one student to every room, ex. making a single into a double, a double into a triple, etc. They served knock off brands in the dining hall. Contrary to what the website says my professors did not hold the highest degree for their fields and the ones that did moved on to teach at better colleges. The neighborhood is the true definition of a ghetto. Puerto Rican gangs over run the area where Trinity is located and since campus safety can only carry flashlights they can come and do whatever they want. I myself was held up by gun point and almost robbed, and when asked how they can make it safer I suggested that they park a car in the parking lot across from the dorm that it happened since it's on the edge of campus and the opposite side of the campus the campus headquarters is. And nothing was done about it 3 weeks later a similiar incident happened. If you're not a trust fund baby and especially if you are a minority, you will be miserable unless you don't have a problem giving up your dignity to entertain the ignorant bigots that make up 90% of the student population.
