Don't go here if your commute is out of boston city. Your social life is killed by the lack of interaction with people. Nobody really talks to you, at least not to me and I was very approachable and nice.

The whole

We understand you're poor, you art kids
is a joke your first year. Confusion abound as they throw the most useless things at you left and right. You have to spend money you didn't even know you had on things you'll never need again. Sure, they say you don't have to buy books but I think all the expensive things they make you get makes up for it big time. Big time.

It's hard not to feel that these people around you are trying to be trendy and hip instead of just enjoying things. I felt a cold chill from time to time because I wasn't in their hip roommate club.

This school's first year has made me feel like I'm a rotten person. Not good enough. Sucking my parents wallet dry. Doing things I have no need. I've always loved art but putting up with this made me doubt doing what I love-It's not teaching me. Teachers tend to throw "deep" projects at you-as if somehow this will change your life.

It's not all bad. Some teachers are great and if you speak to them about your problems they'll try to understand-if they don't understand your financial problems just drop that class.

But really, they don't appreciate commuters. The teachers don't think about them much either.
