Off the top of my head I can think of several places I would rather be than Jacksonville University:

Community College

Working at McDonalds (I would learn just as much)

Boot Camp

Jail

Just kidding about the last one, but not really. The only salvation this University has is the College of Business, but the cost/benefit is simply not worth it. If you like paying a ludicrous amount of money to receive a sub-par education, an academic environment tantamount to a middle school, and a social life equivalent to being on parole, then by all means go to Jacksonville University.

Mention of the social life here brings me to my next point-fuck you. This is directed at anyone who has ever said this school is fun, because since being here I have forgotten what the word fun means. I hesitate to use the word party when describing the social gatherings here, because Webster's Dictionary uses the words pleasure and 'entertainment' in defining the word, and I have experienced neither in attending two years worth of "parties" here. This is probably because the guy:girl ratio at any given party is at least 10:1, which is mathematically equal to a Sausage Fest. There are exactly two clubs in the surrounding area of this school (SoHo&Rain) which are about as much fun as masturbating with a piece of sand paper. Usually frats/sororities are associated with fun and involvement, but here the word "Fraternity" is simply common vernacular for "paying for friends", the majority of which friends are the losers from high school that nobody liked. In summary of the social life, a rating of 'F' does not do this school justice, because an F could be at least a 50%, and this school deserves a 0.

I could go on describing other aspects of this school, but I am literally developing high blood pressure. Just read the high volume of negative comments on this school, most say what I have to say, and are generally spot-on.

but you have never attended another college, maybe you're just a pessimist who thinks the grass is always greener on the other side

Well the grass isn't always greener, there has to be a bottom somewhere, and that bottom is Jacksonville University. (SIDE NOTE: as if to prove my point about the academics being sub-par, most of the posts by students that go here are full of errors; someone even used the word "are" instead of "our")
