Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
I graduated from Norwich University in Vermont. Firstly, choose a major that will be in demand in the marketplace. Major in computer science or information security systems. Major in engineering, architecture or business administration. My undergraduate was in Political Science and I COULD NOT DO ANYTHING WITH IT! Then again, I went back (to the same school) and finished an MBA and that has not served me in the least. Furthermore, they (Norwich) told us all how popular they were and how the Norwich network is so strong…In every job interview I've had, no one has EVER heard of Norwich University. Even more disturbing…Norwich is the oldest private military college in the country. I've spoken to many, many people who are graduates of the Military Academies, none of whom had EVER heard of Norwich either. If you are a native of New England and plan to live and work in New England, then a Norwich Education will be more popular or well known. But the rest of the world, forget it.Secondly, I feel that I would have been better off going to a State College or University that actually has an extensive alumni network that can assist you in getting a job.
