First off I have noting bad to say about the professors I had as they were all the dept. chairs and great teachers but this university has no social life and is ridiculously overpriced. At orientation they lie about how fun and interesting the campus is. The food is absurd and not what should be accepted for a d1 school. They say all the residence halls are the same but they are not! This is the order starting from slum to opulent, Merton - Seaton - Roncallli. I stayed in merton and the carpets, elevators and whole facility stunk of mildew and vomit. I did not experience this in the others. Also for the first month and a half of school when it was 80 degrees, the air conditioning broke! It was hard enough to sleep at night and it just became torturous with the heat. They didn't fix until the end of october when it was getting cold out all ready and they didn't even fix it they just rented a huge portable a/c unit which cost god knows how much, but you are paying for all of this ridiculous spending with the high tuition and board you pay for this school. The kids here obviously show how easy it is to get into this college. They are dumb stuck up a** holes. You have to be that stupid to go to this school with out a scholarship. Even with my scholarship it wasn't enough to keep me there. Please if you are reading this and thinking about applying here, Only consider this a safety school! If they don't give you at least $10,000 in scholarships and grants, don't think about going here because you are just wasting 43k a year when you can get the same education and better social life for much less (I know because I am much happier now). If you are willing to spend full price on this school just apply to Fairfield instead.
