Edmonds Community College is just kind of… there. Its not a bad school, but it's not the most fantastic either. I used to go to Cascadia Community College so in comparison their quite different. The CAMPUS it?s definitely an older looking school (especially compared to Cascadia). It?s not a state-of-the-art technology sort of place, but it?s got plenty of computers in the library (and Mac's in the computer labs) if you need them. PEOPLE are pretty friendly to if you try to ask someone something, that including the teachers. Though, compared to Cascadia, there are WAY more foreign exchange students here. But their pretty nice too, just shy.PARKING is a pain. Then again, it?s free (for now). But the Lynnwood Transit Center is pretty close by and there are tons of buses that'll take you there in one trip. CLASSES are fantastic. This is only my first quarter here, but I can definitely already see the variety compared to Cascadia. If you?re looking for something in the arts (like me) this is the place. Photography, drawing, etc. I know it also has way more to offer in computers, law, and some other things as well. If you?re really curious, just look up the school and look at their online catalog. They always have one up.TEACHERS. All of my teachers have been really nice and open. At Cascadia, their so set on making sure everyone has an open mind, that it makes them close minded, if that makes sense. At Edmonds, the teachers have their own opinions, but it doesn't interfere with what they have to teach you first. ACTIVITIES. If you?re looking for parties I wouldn't really recommend Edmonds. Then again I just transferred here so I don't really know anyone. The surrounding area is just… Lynnwood. Not the shiniest nickel in all of Washington but Alderwood Mall is close by and if downtown Seattle is more your style it?s only about 30-40min away. So overall, if you plan on going here, I would recommend choosing this school if your undecided, and want to try a little bit of everything before transferring to big University.
