I went ONLY my first semester at Webster, and had to leave because it simply was not right for me. The dorms were new and very nice, however, the microwave on our floor kitchen room broke and wasn't replaced for several weeks which left us with our only option to eat out. Also The RA's patrole the hallways and will frequently write people up for just about anything they can. The campus completely dies on the weekends because either everybody goes home or they go out. Going out can get very expensive and it doesn't happen uness you have a car, and there's no parties on campus unless you're in the conservatory or know people who go to other more fun schools around you ie. SLU WASHU. Also pretty much ALL of the clubs in down town St. Louis won''t admit under age kids unless it's during the week, which is a recipe for failure. The sports are a joke so if that's a big issue for you then I would not recommend here! The classes were a joke also. Unless you're an arts student of some form…don't do it. The classes are boring and not challenging at all. The teachers are nice, but serioulsy some of them didn't seem to have a clue. The food was AWFUL! The on-campus dining options were sooooo bad. They consisted of greasy fried food, or a knock-off Subway! These might not sound bad, but they get old very quickly, and eating out is not only a hassle to have to go into St. Louis, but it's really expensive.

All in all I just wouldn't recommend Webster unless you are a musician/singer/theatre major/film/photography/art! The other majors are pretty much a joke and once you graduate the only thing you'll have going for you is a degree on paper. Also Most of the credits from Webster don't transfer so if you're even considering leaving, do it sooner rather than later. The school wasn't much bigger from my highschool also and it kind of felt that way sometimes because most of the other students came from the St. Louis areas and stuck together. Webster was really a huge disappointment and definitely NOT worth the price tag! So if you want a tiny school with absolutely NOTHING to do on weekends except sleep or go home, or a place where you and your St. Louis highschool buddies can continue where you left off after graduation then this is the place for you.
