Courses under the accounting and MIS program are challenging and prepare you for the real world. Not to mention the Nobel prize winning economic department and the highly perceived Information Technology and Engineering school. Almost all professors that I have met were friendly and helpful. Lower level classes are easier. When you get to junior/senior year you really need to study hard in order to graduate…

Do prepare that it is a commuter school. One advantage is that you can meet lots of interesting people from different background, which also provide the opportunity to land you a job. Personally I think you can learn more about the reality instead of stucking in school and enjoy the campus life… I was totally ignored by everyone in high school. However, I have a different experience while going to GMU. Since they are adults, they acknowledge your existence and know how to approach different race group. Not like the immature high school atmosphere.

If you are looking for a school to have fun and meet nice looking chicks, I am not sure if it would be a good school for you. But if you are looking for a place that can provide you high quality of education, plus chances to meet people with different experience and background, then it will be a great school for you.
