FGCU is a horrible school. The academics are pathetic, and most of the teachers can't even speak english. The surrounding town is the opposite of college friendly, and this is basically a commuter school. If you're from out of state, DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you plan on joining a sorority/fraternity, you will not have a social life. Every one here goes home for the weekends or to other schools to party, the parking lot is literally empty by friday morning and remains that way until Sunday night. There is no school spirit, and no fun here. Don't let looks deceive you, this is a beautiful campus, but the school itself is terrible. Don't waste your money!
