Date: Feb 22 2010 Major: Religion/Religious (This Major's Salary over time) Liberty University has professors who genuinely care about the students (at least in the Religion dept). However, the classes are too big and the professors are overworked. The quality of education suffers drastically. The school is too focused on having a big student body and as a result the overall quality of the programs diminish. The core curriculum is far too simple. Even the most basic issues in the larger religious conversation are completely untouched in the classroom (Emergent church, New Perspective, Postmodern Hermeneutics). These should at least be mentioned for religion majors! All things being equal, I would have attended a different university.
