I think Jarvis has a long way to go. The new president, Dr. Thomas, is making great strides but there is ALOT to fix. It's true that college is what you make of it. I'm doing very well (4.0) and have a great time. But its all for the wrong reasons. The only reason I'm doing so well, i think, is that everyone else around me is completely stupid. A lot of the work feels like middle school. No exageration. If you feel like you're a bright student, you'd pretty much be wasting your time here. I'm on my way out this coming semester. I'm not being challenged. If thats something thats important to you, this isn't the school for you. If you want to skate through and just get a degree to say you have one, by all means, do it! College is college. But a better college is better! Good luck. God bless.
