When I applied to Simmons, I lacked the confidence to apply to more prestigious universities, despite the fact that I was quite capable of being accepted. It is possible that I would have gotten a better education at one of those institutions. That being said, Simmons has provided me with emotional support and self-awareness that give me the confidence to apply to some very selective graduate programs.
