RPI is a good school. I read a lot of negative reviews and was apprehensive but after coming here, i realize that if you make an effort to be social, there is no end to things to do here and the amount of fun one can have. The social scene is not too great but there is always a party or a small get together going on somewhere that most people are welcome to join. The coursework is challenging and regular work is needed to stay on top. if it was easy, the top companies wouldnt be chasing rpi grads. It definitely pays to be here. Its a lovely school with a smart and healthy campus and surroundings. I would recommend this school if you have high aspirations and can manage a party and a work life simultaneously. I absolutely love being here. It gets pretty cold in the winter, but the students always find an upside. hope this helped, cheerio,
