Major: School of Information (This Major's Salary over time)
I transfered from case western after my freshman year after deciding to switch my major. I applied to Virginia tech and mason, was accepted to both, and chose mason over tech because of its proximity to DC and its overall growth in the past years. I have had 2 different paid internships in DC during the summer and have found that the classes I have taken have prepared me quite well. The classes I have taken are pretty challenging, however one down side is that some of the 300 and 400 level classes are only taught in the prince william campus requiring a commute. before coming to mason i wanted to make sure that i had a social life, and while my main focus is schoolwork i understood that masons social life was pretty lacking unless you joined a frat(especially as a transfer). I joined one and have made some of the best friends in my life, please try it out for yourself before you assume a stupid stereotype of greek life. overall very good experience with challenging classes and professors who are passionate about their work.
