Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
The mechanical engineering department here is competent at teaching the basics and equipping students with the 'tools for the job'. This process takes the majority of the time spent pursuing this degree (personally I believe the same material could be covered in a much shorter time), with the senior year focusing on application of the material and (limited) specialization. I have enjoyed my time here and consider it time well spent.
