EIU, like any other school, offers opportunities to learn in and out of the classroom. Academics were sufficiently challenging, but the real learning experience came from working for a local business owner who embraced student employees and treated them like family. You can take the student of our Charleston, but you can never take the friendly Charleston way of life out of the student.
