Rollins College

I had never planned on coming to this school, and always wanted to stay up North, but when I visited I fell in love with it. I was hesitant to come here because of the reputation I've heard about the people, but I came anyways. I absolutely hate it.

There is no school spirit. Nobody leaves their rooms during the day even though we go to school at a country club. The campus is beautiful and its really nice to be able to go to the pool, but that is the only time people leave their rooms. Nobody joins clubs or goes to any of the activities going on around campus. If you do decide to go, it is looked at like your unpopular or not cool for wanting to go. The only things to do here are go to clubs in downtown Orlando, or go to a local bar on the same day every single week. Each time you go out, its with the same people at the same place every week. The people are not down to earth at all. A very high percentage of the people here do cocaine and drink every night. If you don't plan on drinking everytime you go out, this is not the school for you. Going out is not even fun if you don't drink and everyone here is ridiculously drunk. Everyone is incredibly rich and loves that they are. If your not on a sports team or in a fraternity/sorority there is nothing to do on campus. Its very small and everyone knows everybody and their business. I really don't want to transfer because I love everything else about Rollins, but I cant stand the people. I hope that you consider this before coming here, because I wish I had know before I had agreed to come.
