Major: Aerospace Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
There are A LOT of mixed reviews about Embry-Riddle. First off it is the best University to attend for Aerospace Engineering. Other than than its worthless. I was an aeronautical science major or pilot for the first year and than changed majors to aerospace engineering the second year.

The aeronautical science department is total bull. You pay an upwards of at LEAST $52,000 for flight training you could get just as good anywhere else. The academics are far too easy. I was literally straight A's both semesters. It really was a joke.

However, now the aerospace engineering major is a little different. It really puts you to work and is worth it in the work force. It prepares you well for the real world well. There is a lot of work and it can be extremely stressful at times.

Now the social life blows SO bad. the only good thing is its decent proximity to the beach. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing. Daytona Beach is a very poor area outside of the college campus. The clubs are dirty and it is literally just not a good area. The girls at school are so bad. you think you can handle the terrible ratio at first but you really can't. Like the other kids said, the few girls do get passed around a lot and its just so off putting. I truly do not believe that its even worth it unless you are dead serious on getting an aerospace engineering degree.
