I transferred out of Wellesley. Wellesley was the most difficult experience of my life. If you can handle the rigors, you will grow and learn a lot. I think that it is pretty agreeable that Wellesley is not always easy and enjoyable.

As for me, I thought I wanted something very different and unique. In the end, it provided too much of a challenge for me and I was not very happy or relaxed.

Wellesley was quite memorable, on the other hand. Beautiful, unforgettable campus and architecture. I made quality friends during my stay. Very encouraging and bright professors.

I'm the type of person who enjoys challenges. However, my advice is to think twice when deciding colleges. Back in high school, I wanted to go far from home, explore new terrain, meet awesome people, go to a prestigious college no one's ever heard of… even try an all-women's school! I was really stretching my boundaries and I didn't know how uncomfortable I would end up being in reality.

I hope this review is helpful, because if I had to do it all over again, I would have spared myself the Wellesley experience. On the other hand, there are people who truly have a great time at Wellesley. There are many positive aspects to the college. Also, I miss Boston sometimes…

If you're wondering, I'm now at a large public university in my home state. I don't think I'm selling myself short education-wise. I never thought I would end up where I am, but I'm really glad about how things turned out :)
