This school does not show the Franciscan values they clame AT ALL. The board does not care for the students, all the want is your money. They don't even listen to the students. The food here is absolutely horrible and horrible for you. There is nothing positive about this school except perhaps the one nice Friar you meet on campus. Everyone I have spoken to hates being here. If I had known I would be wasting my college experience come here i would have gone somewhere else. This school does nothing but try to figure out more ways of how they can get more money for their students. Their living conditions are horrible. The rooms are extremely small and have to fit THREE people. Imagine three people living in a closet, that is your Siena experience. The professors range from young and unexperienced to old and should have retired long ago. The way they run the school is completely corrupt. The founders of this school would be turning over in their graves if they knew what it was really like here now. This school promotes depression. Every day I wake up here, my soul is crushed alittle bit more. I'm looking foward to transfering. You're paying WAY too much money just to add onto your resume you went to a school with "Franciscan values." What you are relly admitting is you got cheated out of your money. Avoid this school at all costs.

responseI disagree. The food really isn't that bad compared to other schools. Its college food- of course it isn't going to be great. As for the triples… welll yah :-/ they're not fun but they're not hapening again next year. And if you say there is not fransiscan values expressed on campus I don't know where you've been. Everyone holds the door open for each other, is quick to offer help, and a large percentage of students participate in volunteer work. I love being there and look forward to the rest of my college experience.
responseTo the person that responded? are you a student at siena? Do you realize how much money the school has and how little they use it to benefit the students? Do you realize you ARE in fact a number, not a name? Holding the door open does not constitute Franciscan values. Maybe if you were paying to go to this school and not your parents you would realize how much of your money you are wasting. Don't kid yourself.
responseI would have to agree with whoever wrote this review. After spending a year at Siena, it is clear to me that the administration and faculty care very little about the students. The food is beyond terrible, teachers dispicable and housing disgusting.
commentVoice from the real world: Employers don't care that you attended a college that said it was founded on "Franciscan values," so don't bother putting that on your resume!
