I am about to graduate from Lipscomb and I can honestly say I was unhappy every day I was here. I continued on because my parents wanted me to graduate from a Christian based university. However, the Lipscomb they knew and wanted for me is not the Lipscomb I attended. I come from, and am, a very conservative Christian family and Lipscomb has changed their focus from Christianity to being all inclusive. While some may call me close-minded and bigoted, I just happen to believe it when Jesus said, Lipscomb University doesn't hold to that standard anymore.Academically, Lipscomb is average. There were very few classes that truly challenged me. Socially, Lipscomb is very "clique-ish." If you can't afford to stay on campus, as I couldn't, you are out of the loop and very few people make an effort to include you.I wish I had gone somewhere else.
