JU has its problems, but they're not uncommon to independent private schools. Since I got here ('05), there's been a sea change in the way this school's administration reacts to student concerns. Those who tell you that the fraternity scene dominates are correct, but they don't seem to seek out any alternative. If 20% of the campus "dominates" socially, it's because you let it.The academic culture gets a bad rap. DCoB just got 956h-percentile accreditation, and the school's ranked in the same spot as UNF on the U.S. News & World Report list (and yes, lists are flawed, but more in their direction than ours).
