Even smaller schools ignore folks, however big schools can still have the resources, funding, and dedication to reach out, I doubt that folks would attend UNC because they feel its small, most colleges anyways are huge, the kind of folks looking for a small school with its close-knit community are probably not the commentators on the negative, sometimes there is an entitlement or lackluster involvement of professors, also UNC has in the media a reputation so its folks job to see if its true. |

I personally love Carolina, and if there is one thing that I have noticed about all the negative comments on here, it is that they are all complaining about things that exist at every large school. Big state school are not for everyone, and I understand that some people will not like them. However, aside from that, there is literally nothing bad about UNC. We have an amazing social life, great academics, and a fantastic reputation all over the country. I would never go anyplace else. For those who don't like big schools, the solution is simple…don't go to one.
