You're crazy. This is completely false and makes zero sense. |
It sounds like youre the kind of person that doesnt have much of a social life…or friends for that matter…and you seem to lay the blame on a school that you CHOSE to attend yet, have you ever thought that possibly the problem lies in yourself? |
I totally agree. The students here suck. They are pathetic, and they criticize anybody who doesn't like their precious little college. To the above comments, your school sucks, and so do you. Go worship Keno Davis and his thug basketball program. Go binge drink. Sometimes people go to a college because they have no other choice. I completely like this Review. |
Thug basketball team?? Wow could you be any more racist? Sweet comment. You dont have to drink to have a good college experience. I dont drink here and I love it at pc. Its part of being an individual. You dont NEED to do what everyone else…just because theres a lot of partying…just like at every other college…doesnt mean you need to follow in the same path. My friends here dont drink and we love our school both academically and socially. |
Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
Providence College is the type of school for like-minded individuals who view the world through a kaleidoscope, where the philosophy remains true: what you see is what you get. At this particular "academic institution", one just views people as almost identical to one another; the student body here is not diverse, the people are uppity and self-consumed with their own priorities, and there is way too much of an emphasis placed on social events. Every other day there is a party, a campaign, an off-campus event, downtown city clubs that students (even freshman) scurry off to. As a student who maintained an incredibly high GPA, was involved in community service events, and received great recommendations from two remarkable teachers ( math and science teachers) from her high school, not to mention performed at the acceptable SAT level here at PC, the college was not a benefit to her. The school could use more input from specific academic groups on campus, yet there seems to be a wide range of social groups pertaining to the Friars basketball team, 'Things for Thursday', and PC after hours(too much partying/ drinking- unsafe)—we have had a few mishaps this year: incidents on and off campus due to too much partying at this Party College- play on words. Instead of playing on basketball, why not play on extra classwork assignments?
