After graduating from WFU, I was determined not to spend another 4 years being miserable. I enrolled in graduate school, earned my Master's and found a job that weighed heavily on the reputation of my GRADUATE school; WFU was merely a stepping stone, albeit a costly one.

Being a nonconformist, I came through Wake Forest as a stronger individual since every day was a constant struggle against stupidity. For anyone considering WFU, the reputation of your undergraduate school (esp. this one if you go outside the Southeast U.S.) is not entirely important once you have a few years of work experience under your belt. This is amplified if you earn a graduate degree from a similarly-ranked/higher-ranked school. Still, fight to keep your grades in top order and take advantage of Wake's numerous resources and Study Abroad programs; they will help you keep your sanity.
