Pace University is an unorganized, bankrupt, ignorant school. Unless you want to maintain only a 2.5 GPA and drink Thursday to Sunday, run as far away from Pace University as humanly possible. The food is horrible; the same chicken is used in everything and none of the food service workers speak good english. I ask for red peppers and always get green…The dorms are disgusting. Half of the showers are unusable due to mass amounts of hair clogging the drains or you just can't stand the little tiny bugs that like to fly around you as you try to get CLEAN!Socially, Pace is a high school. I would split the students into two groups: Students who go to Pace and Pace Students. A Pace student is someone who goes Greek, parties 4 days a week, believes in the philosophy of "C's get degrees", and loves to be 100% completely immersed in totally stupid and pointless drama. These are the people who never should have left high school. A student who goes to Pace however, is someone who actually takes pride in their academic achievements, has morals, and has matured past the point of "oh em gee is that bitch really looking at my boyfriend right now?"You will never know what anything is as a Freshman, because for some reason, Pace is obsessed with using acronyms. SDCA, SOCA, OSA, OLAS, LS, HOJOS, ASAP, BAC…Most people will tell you to go to an acronym and then its up to you to remember that acronym so you can figure out what it means.Aside from that stuff, no one at the office of student assistance (OSA) knows what they are doing. Keep track of your funds because they will do what they can to take every penny possible from you. If you're bright, go somewhere else. Pace caters too much to the kids who just want to coast through. The acceptance rate is nearly 100% because they're desperate for money. Ultra liberal. They hold a few democratic conferences every year but have absolutely nothing for republicans and conservatives. All in all, I wish I hadn't made good friends my Freshman year. It was because of them that I stayed at the school. Then, they started getting more into the mindset of Pace and we grew apart and now no longer talk as we have nothing in common anymore. Now I'm at the point where I've made an impression on several Professors and these are relationships that can turn into a foot in the door somewhere. I don't want to give that up just to have to restart at another school somewhere. So I am graduating a year early and getting as far away from Pace University as I possibly can. I regret coming to this school with so much passion. It's so much more than buyer's remorse.
