Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
The M.S. program in Biology is one of the worst I have ever seen. There are relatively few professors with which to work. The thesis project which you are required to complete is poorly explained if explained at all. Mostly, you are flying blind trying to do something and you have no idea what you are doing. There are some good professors, but mostly, the professors here are arrogant, condescending, supercilious, domineering, lecherous, and back-stabbing. The coursework is, at best, undergraduate level. The requirements are simplistic to the point of making this degree a laughing joke. The facilities are outdated, dilapidated, and everything here is on the verge of falling apart. Things are in a constant state of repair, which makes it exceedingly difficult to do anything with any consistency. Rest assured, that if any issue comes about between yourself and a professor, the professor's side will immediately be taken and your viewpoint is invalid. If given the chance, I would not have wasted my money nor my time and I am actually transferring to a different degree program.
