Date: May 01 2010 Major: Math (This Major's Salary over time) When I attended Drexel it was considered a premiere school in Philadelphia. I realized that Drexel is more a place of negative education as opposed to positive education. The first year for example is tremendously difficult. The school uses the first year to get rid of students they believe shouldn't be there. Most professors have very little if any concern about the students and the administration tends to be worse caring only about the bottom line and not the quality of the education they provide. I know, for example, that the VP of Enrollment believes her job to be one of "filling the hopper" so she can meet her quotas. In fact to her a student is simply a body and are interchangeable. This is a cultural norm at Drexel, meaning it comes from the top, so don't expect to find anyone there in the administration who is different.
