Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
Well first off, I never expected college to be a glorified employment agency, so I do not agree with many of the comments about lack of job placement. The resources are there, people just need to be proactive. They do work to make connections with employers, and you can't really blame your college for the sucky economy.

Each major has a vastly different feel and approach, and should be judged accordingly. The first year requirements may seem unnecessary at times, but they truly have purpose, and help many students to find what actually interests them, perhaps even change their intended major.

Unfortunately, even though CCAD is a design school… it is not the most aesthetically pleasing school. It is moving forward, though, one project at a time. In the end it's not really about the building's anyway, it's about the education, which is what made me choose it.

Though I'm not always happy with my instructors, I respect them and I do not expect to be coddled. When I have had issues, I received quick responses.

In the end, an education at CCAD is not like an extended stay at summer art camp. It's not a place to come and draw anime. It can be very rewarding, but no college is for everyone.
