I received an excellent merit award from Chapman, and have attended almost a full year now.  In nearly every class, about 1/2 of the students walk in late.  Also, 1/2 or more are texting off and on during class.  As a rule, several students don't remember their songs or homework assignments.  In music and voice, professors regularly warn students that they need to do their warm ups before class not during.  A few students in most class continuously need to be told to “put away your cell phones”.  I often find it difficult to concentrate during lectures.  In my experience, Chapman seems to be spilling over with over-privileged, spoiled brats who are failing to appreciate their college opportunities.  Apparently, there is no respect for their parents money that is paying for very expensive tuition and housing.
