I only found out about Shimer by accident, but I'm glad I did! It has been the most amazing experience I could have imagined. The readings and assignments are incredibly challenging, but at the same time you have this amazing, wonderfully supportive community. Everybody helps each other learn. My writing and speaking skills have improved so much that I hardly recognize myself. Absolutely, without question, a thousand times over, I would recommend Shimer to anyone who is looking for a really meaningful education.
