Ive been reading some of these comments that people wrote about lock haven, and if you went here to anywhere from now to 2008 than I would totally agree with your posts. However if you are writing those comments and you attended lock haven anywhere from 2003 to 2007 than you were a dork or like that one ass that claims OMG ITS SO AMAZING I CAME TO COLLEGE TO LEARN!! Grow up, you probaly have no friends, are unattractive and were beat up by the "cool" kids so you just bury your face in a book and judge everyone else. When I first came to Lock Haven it was the complete college experience. It had a great party life and I thought the teachers here were always great. A few of them (spanish prof. Dr Valerio) I always spoke to out side of class and they really cared about how I did in their class and how I would suceed in my life after college. I liked alot of the classes and the campus is beautiful. I am from NEW JERSEY (ya Im one the jersey kids that went college in lock haven and yes daddy was loaded and he paid for everything, even my montly allowance, and it was F***ING GREAT, since I didnt work I got to drink and screw more)I think of all my friends from highschool that went to different colleges and I feel bad for them because I really dont think they will ever experience what I did. I had the most amazing college experience, and it went beyond just drinking. It was how everyone knew your name when you walked into the most popular bar at the time the Locker Room, it was how the next day in bently you would order your own personal pizza (before they took that away) that everyone swore would cure your hangover, or you could walk down by Raub and see Too wak running naked down the campus with a paper bag over his head, and all the sigma pi brothers laughing their ass off. It was how on thursday to saturday nights you had your pick of the party, whether it was west main parties from the football house with their 18 kegger partiee . Or waking up in one of those houses you partied at like one of the 25 rooms in tke where I once woke up in a room that had just a mattress and dresser and I had been sleeping on some girls bear ass covered in pee. It was everyone knowing your business,or floating down the river in the summer, or walking into docs and getting a great pizza (well great for central pa) or ordering a sandwich named after your friend. It was the atmosphere, it was the people, it was the air, it was everything, you wanted to be in lock haven, you never wanted to miss a night out because god forbid you missed out on something. I recently came back to Lock Haven and saw the lock haven that you all talk about. There are no more frats, no parties, no more people that make you feel like you found a second family, its just a regular college with regular students, in small town in the middle of no where, and its so depressing. So I end this with if you can get a college experience like the one ive expressed here I advise you to go where ever that is. Because College is the best 5 plus years of your life…
